Poway Unified School District bus service will continue for at least another year.

Supt. John Collins recommended saving the service for about 3,000 students, based on the response from parents to purchase bus passes.  More than 2,000 of the $575 passes were sold for 2010-11 school year so far, with the expectation of at least a few hundred more being tallied.  The bus service costs the district about $3.5 million annually.
