The Poway Center for the Performing Arts Foundation and Echo Pacific Construction, Inc. invites you to the Plaza at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts  on Saturday, June 15, for the second annual  Taste of Our Towne II, an epicurean extravaganza and a night of fine dining, sumptuous wines, dancing, music, prizes and more.

Taste of Our Towne II is a party with a cause. The event will raise money in support of the POW! Foundation’s Art in Education Initiative and the Professional Performance Series. The drawing for the winner of the 2013 Lexus Hybrid Raffle will take place that night as well.

“Taste of Our Towne II is an important part of POW! Foundation’s ability to provide quality programming at the Center and in our schools. Ticket sales cover only a portion of the costs to present our Professional Performance season and keep arts education alive in our schools,” said Executive Director Michael Rennie. “This fabulous party, brought together by our exceptional committee, makes these programs possible. Taste of our Towne II is also a great event where the community gathers on the Plaza, the food and wine served is delicious, the live and silent auction items are one-of-a-kind and the entertainment is unique — truly a very special night!”

NBC 7’s Whitney Southwick will serve a Master of Ceremonies. Poway and Rancho Bernardo’s finest restaurants along with Poway and Ramona Valley vintners will offer samples of their signature sips and dishes.

Taste of Our Towne will begin in the lobby of the Poway Center for the Performing Arts with a champagne toast, music from young jazz prodigies The Pizzaro Brothers and the chance to bid on attractive silent and live auction items. After the close of the silent auction, the party moves to the plaza for music and dancing to the Latin fusion music of Gipsymenco    while guests enjoy delicious food and drink and the opportunity to bid on many one-of-a-kind  live auction items. At the end of the evening, Geico will sponsor a safe ride home to any attendees who choose to partake. Tickets may be purchased online at www.powayarts.org or by calling 858-668-4798.
