Beth Sczempka, owner of Tease Salon Studios in Rancho Peñasquitos, and stylist Kati Sartini are venturing into Cambodia to help battle sex trafficking. They will be part of a team of hairstylists and makeup artists that will be instructing 15 women in Cambodian over a three week period. These new skills will allow the women to escape the lives they have been forced to live and have a fresh start.

As with most charity trips, Beth and Kati need to raise funds to cover their expenses as well as contributing to the supplies and tools the students will need. There are a few different ways you can help do this:

  • They will be hosting a screening of The Pink Room, an award winning documentary that raises awareness to this tragic situation. It is a story of redemption and compassion that will touch your heart and broaden your understanding of the battle these young girls in Cambodia face daily. Join the Tease Salon Studios Facebook page for updates on the time and place that the film will be shown.
  • Come by Tease Salon Studios to drop off a donation
  • Mail a check made out to “Support the Trade” to Tease Salon Studios, 9330 Carmel Mountain Road Suite H, San Diego, CA 92129
