The students at the US Arts Education Center in 92129 recently entered an international art competition with a theme of Humans in Space. The competition invited students ages 10 to 18 to submit visual, literary, musical and video artwork that represented the future of space flight . There were a total of 2,076 entries from 52 countries. Instructor Sue Dawe of US Arts entered 19 students in the contest, with nine students garnering 11 awards.
