MVMS Mustache You to be Kind

A sea of purple, the color for kindness, and seafoam green shirts with the phrase “I mustache you to be kind” filled the Mesa Verde Middle School (MVMS) campus during Kindness Week. Fully packed with activities that promoted the importance of kindness, the week taught each student to understand the impact a kind word or deed can have on an individual, the school, and their community. The week kicked off with breakfast and trivia for students and continued with a kindness pledge on Tuesday. Students were then asked to sign a banner with their kindness pledge. On Thursday, the students wrote thank you cards to wounded soldiers, which were then delivered to the Wounded Warrior Project for “Operation Appreciation.” Students were given a chance to spin the Wheel O’ Kindness and complete an act of kindness in front of their peers at the end of the week.
