The Rancho Family YMCA will be holding their Healthy Kids Day on April 25 to celebrate kids’ health. Through a free, fun-filled day of activities, the event introduces a wide variety of YMCA programs and tools that teach healthy habits for kids and families, encourage active play, and inspire a lifetime of love of physical activity. Attendees can look forward to lots of games and sport-themed activities including a three-point basketball shooting contest, a family bootcamp, an obstacle course, a summer camp preview from local vendors, and much more. Rancho Family YMCA Business Application Specialist Kathryn Olmstead explained, “The event focuses on keeping the kid alive in all of us! If we start our children out as active human beings at an early age, we are giving them necessary tools to continue to live a healthy and active life.” For more information visit www.rancho.ymca.org.
