Putting Patients First
At Rancho Pharmacy, the Focus is on Education, Timeliness, and Prioritizing Patients
A visit to the pharmacy should be so much more than picking up a prescription. Rancho Pharmacy understands the importance of the client-pharmacist relationship. Dedicated to superb customer service, patient education, and quick turnaround times, Rancho Pharmacy sets themselves apart from other pharmacies.
Bhavik Patel, pharmacy owner and manager, has been a pharmacist for 10 years. The decision to open Rancho Pharmacy was made from past experiences where the quality and care did not match Bhavik’s expectations. “After working in retail pharmacies, I experienced a lack of customer service and care and that led me to open my own pharmacy,” he explained.
“We want to be someone you trust your health with.”
Today, Bhavik ensures medications are ready in 5 to 10 minutes and that patients are treated like family. The business philosophy is simple: “Patient care first.” They accept all insurances and offer free daily delivery of medication. The pharmacy also offers immunizations.
Rancho Pharmacy utilizes state-of- the-art equipment, including advanced computer software to fill prescriptions and communicate with patients via text messages, refill reminders, and email notifications. For clients who prefer the extra security and reminders, bubble packaging of medications is available to help track dosage and usage.
Beyond prescriptions, Rancho Pharmacy also provides over-the-counter medications and medical and diabetic supplies. The team of pharmacy professionals are happy to help with advice to educate patients on the products. “You deserve sound advice from an approachable pharmacist who is always willing to listen,” Bhavik acknowledged.
From medication therapy management to drug interaction reviews, Rancho Pharmacy knows their number one priority is helping patients make well-informed decisions about their health. By putting patients first, they have the best compliance of medications rate with their patients. “We want to be more than just a place that you pick up your prescriptions from,” he said. “Rather, we want to be someone you trust your health with.”
