Westview High School’s PTSA is raising funds through an online auction for the Class of 2017’s Grad Nite. Grad Nite is an alcohol-and drug-free event hosted by the PTSA for all 576 graduating seniors on graduation night, June 8. The all-night celebration features unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages, music, dancing, games, and activities.

“Our online auction is important because it is our main fundraiser for Grad Nite. The cost of a Grad Nite ticket does not cover the cost of the event, so we rely on our fundraisers to help keep the ticket price down for students,” said Grad Nite 2017 Chair Kim Latta. “Funds are also used to offer scholarships to those students that might not otherwise be able to attend. Our goal is 100 percent senior attendance at this safe and sober celebration! We are hoping to interest the community at large, as the safety of our students is a community concern.”

The online auction runs from April 17 through May 1. For more information visit www.westviewptsa.org/grad-nite.
