The Rancho Peñasquitos Branch Library is one of several locations hosting the 2nd Annual How-To Festival on Saturday, May 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival is an interactive community educational event with something for everyone and for all ages. There will be 15 “how-to” classes taking place during the four-hour program on three stages at the PQ Library, including: Make Your Own Spa Treats, Write Using Calligraphy Pens, Draw Pokémon GO Characters, Tie a Scarf in Six Different Ways, Make Organic Dog Treats, Love Yourself, Grow Your Own Mini Urban Garden, among others. Festival presenters are community experts from all walks of life.

“I am most excited by the fact that this is an opportunity for people in our community to engage with each other,” said PQ Library Branch Manager Adrianne Peterson. “The festival celebrates experiential and peer-to-peer learning, and is a wonderful way for individuals to share and connect with their community.” The library is located at 13330 Salmon River Rd., San Diego, CA 92129.
