Live Life Smiling

I-Orthodontics and Dr. Lindsay Pfeffer Create Smiles from the Inside Out

I-Orthodontics is a unique practice that focuses not just on a patient’s teeth but their overall experience from the moment they walk through the front door. “I-Orthodontics is not just a business. It is a place of impact and a place where we focus on changing lives beyond just changing patients’ smiles. We want our patients to live life smiling,” revealed Dr. Lindsay Pfeffer, who worked with Dr. Noel Moser until her retirement in 2014. Formerly Moser Orthodontics, Dr. Pfeffer re-branded the office into what I-Orthodontics is today, while continuing the legacy of being a philanthropic and family-centered practice.

“Our practice focuses on giving back to our community and helping those in need. We sponsor over 100 community organizations in the area and maintain our Boards for Braces campaign,” noted Dr. Pfeffer. “This program is for those who may not need orthodontics but who want to help improve the life of someone less fortunate. For every California longboard that is purchased, I treat one child in need for free.” With this program, Dr. Pfeffer strives to help develop a culture of buying with intent. This allows young patients to feel a connection between something they desire and how it can impact another’s life.

The I-Ortho team welcomes patients and community members to pay a visit to their official Little Free Library, where all are welcome to take a book and leave a book.

In addition to cultivating a welcoming and giving environment, the members of the I-Ortho staff – each having many years of experience in orthodontics – strive to be the best they can be in their field by regularly receiving training from world-renowned orthodontic specialists. Dr. Pfeffer herself was a scientist before earning her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from an Ivy League institution. Her scientific background has fostered a love for the technical and innovative side of the industry. With this in mind, she and her team take a proactive approach to orthodontics. “Today, teeth can be improved with retainers, braces, and more invisible options like Invisalign or lingual braces. With advances in technology, we are able to fix teeth faster and improve the look of patients’ smiles at any age,” Dr. Pfeffer explained. “For growing children, we are able to avoid pulling teeth and prevent problems that otherwise may be unsolvable in adulthood.”

Patient education is also a key part of Dr. Pfeffer’s practice. She is committed to informing her patients of all their options and making sure they understand all aspects of their treatment. “Our focus is on making our patients happy. We also want people to be inspired by our office so that they can make someone else’s day by continuing that feeling they have when they leave our office. Kindness is contagious, and we want to serve as role models for our community,” related Dr. Pfeffer, who splits her own time between running her practice and volunteering for over 20 different organizations. With its many philanthropic endeavors and programs – like their Little Free Library offered to children, parents, and all who visit the office – the impact of I-Ortho’s efforts is felt throughout the community.
