The Rancho Peñasquitos Branch Library is hosting the 2nd Annual How-To Festival on Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival will take place simultaneously at seven library locations throughout San Diego – PQ, Central, Clairement, Logan Heights, Mission Hills, Otay Mesa, and Pacific Beach – with each branch hosting a number of mini “how-to” classes. “I am most excited by the fact that this is an opportunity for people in our community to engage with each other,” said PQ Library Branch Manager Adrianne Peterson. “The festival celebrates experiential and peer-to-peer learning, and is a wonderful way for individuals to share and connect with their community.”

There will be 15 “how-to” classes taking place during the four-hour program on three stages at the PQ Library, including: Make Your Own Spa Treats, Write Using Calligraphy Pens, Draw Pokémon GO Characters, Tie a Scarf in Six Different Ways, Make Homemade Dog Treats, Love Yourself, Grow Your Own Mini Urban Garden, among others.
