Is It Time to Sell Your Home?

There is a severe shortage of homes for sale in 92129, and there are plenty of qualified buyers seeking a home in your area! Statistics are in for March and we saw that only 54 new listings hit the market in 92129, a 30% decrease from the same time last year according to the Greater San Diego Association
of REALTORS®.

However, with the lower inventory of homes, we saw sales prices rise by roughly 15% year over year. Currently, there is less than one month of housing inventory available. So what does this all translate to as a homeowner in 92129? Maybe it’s time to sell and look at moving up or moving down. The appreciation of equity realized with your home sale could be rolled into the down payment of your new home, keeping your payment either similar or lower than your current payment.
