David J. Suder
Dr. David J. Suder began his career in optometry, and now he’s dedicated to helping sellers and buyers see success in real estate too. He partners with his wife, Darla Suder, to personally handle every transaction and offer full-service brokerage services. David’s interest in the field started in the early ‘80s when he was completing his clinical externship in the Los Angeles area. He started attending investment classes and seminars, and eventually purchased his first investment property in 1994. David and Darla have amassed a portfolio of nearly 170 residential rental units. David became a licensed broker in 2006, and also holds broker designation in two other states. David and Darla spend most of their time engaged in managing, selling, acquiring investment properties, and consulting and helping home sellers and buyers. Buyers are advised on what houses to avoid and exactly what they are getting, because David has actively done flips and rehabs himself and can spot problems up front. He even has personally performed most of the construction on many of his projects, and employed and supervised contractors. With this experience, David and Darla can advise sellers how to prepare their homes to get top dollar, and buyers on what to avoid or what they should require to be repaired in the home they are purchasing.
David and Darla have been married since 1986, and have two adult children. They currently reside in Scripps Ranch, and have lived in north Poway, Rancho Peñasquitos, and Clairemont.
