The San Diego Public Library’s 4th Annual How-To Festival will be held Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit any of 20 library locations – including the Rancho Peñasquitos Library – for the family-friendly, interactive educational event. Each participating library will offer a variety of free community presentations and workshops. Previous events have taught attendees how to dance the flamenco, how to grow a mini urban garden, how to overcome stress, how to arrange flowers, how to wear a kimono, and much more. Last year, visitors at the Rancho Peñasquitos Library learned everything from how to build a robot and make a monster cupcake to how to pay for college and let go of their fears.
